Ans. Commodities trading is a form of market trading that involves trading commodities and raw products. This kind of trading field involves the use of contracts for different kinds of products. These include contracts for buying certain amounts of items and then selling them at later points.

Commodities are traded preparing different kinds of items in mind. These include a series of commodities that are made with different industries in mind. These are items that are often invested for different personal or economic use and are traded with different values that can change as trends evolve.

One of the best advantages of commodities trading is that it can involve many different kinds of trades. It can involve traditional spot trading where a transaction is handled immediately and can be sold at any time. Futures can also be used. This is where a contract is used to buy commodities now and pay for them as the commodities change in value over a period of time.

A forward transaction can also be used. This is to cover a transaction where commodities are going to be traded in the future at a set price that is determined in the past. This is with the assumption that the commodities can be sold at higher values.

Another great benefit of commodities trading is that it can involve different kinds of commodities. These include commodities like livestock, agricultural products, precious metals and industrial metals among many other items.

There are even new commodities being added on occasion. These include such modern commodities as carbon offsets.

Commodities can also be traded at any time of day. This is thanks to the support of commodities markets from all parts of the world. These include markets in Chicago, New York, London and Tokyo.
